Thank You to Clergy For Holiday Service

Community and church volunteers do so much during the holidays and throughout the year.

At busy holiday seasons, it is easy to overlook the good work that pastors, ministers, and volunteers perform, but it is at these times that overworked givers need most to hear a kind word and know that their energy and time invested in their work, matters to someone.

Let that person be you.

Thank You Note to the Clergy for Holiday Service

Dear Pastor Williams,

I want to commend you on a job well done. Last Sunday’s Christmas service was beautiful to observers, inspiring to the participants, and meaningful to all of us as a reminder of the historical event and religious significance we celebrate.

Obviously, you and your staff spent long hours in planning the service, selecting the appropriate music, coordinating the visuals and media support, and preparing the message. After 40 to 60 hours in the world of work every week, we members of the congregation appreciate a chance to get away from the hustle and bustle and reflect on our higher purpose in life. You provided that opportunity once again Sunday, and I thank you.

Sincerely,

Kass

Thanksgiving Prayer for Pastor Appreciation

Lord,  I enter your courts with praise and thanksgiving.  Thank you for choosing our pastor to shepherd this church. Thank you for helping him to walk in the counsel of the Godly. May you continue strengthening him so that he can lead us to you our true living God. Remove anything in his life that may hinder him from fulfilling the calling you have placed in his heart. May he hide under your wings all the days of his life. Lord, I love and adore you. In Jesus’ name, I believe and pray, Amen.

Thank-You Note For Baptism

I like to climb mountains, read Nietzsche, and explore the West Coast. I have a BA from York University (2003) in Toronto, Canada, and yet on this site I sometimes spell like an American (know your audience). Thank you. Thank you very much.
